Is it just me or does that symbol in the picture, with its black lines and sharp angles, look a little like a swastika?
To me the stark black on white logo = 'radical extremist' - but it looks also a lot like some of the symbols used by Italian (not only) neofascist movements. I saw this and it turns out that the currently revived neofascist groups in Italy are led by someone who escaped to the UK while being investigated.
This is a total derail, but if you look at the picture you'll see that they have the nf symbol (the cross thingy) next to a sign saying BlackFlag, who were (I think) supposed to be antifa?
TLDR
Basically, the youth are attracted to simple symbology, and the extremist/radical symbols are probably very similar to each other, while the youth themselves are easily led
