Have you ever thought maybe you are misunderstandign the 'ideology' (ie being trans)?

Some of you who aren't total haters come across as sheep who are yourselves repressed trans individuals worried about coming out and being liberated.

You say you don't conform to Gendered stereotypes but you are also afraid to discard them and truly be free of 'sex' altogether, it makes no sense.
It's funny and confusing to see you go around in circles with your wrong and confusing logic, "I'm a woman but i don't like pink and have short hair", sorry to break it to you but this isn't the words of a woman, you are a repressed transgender person, you are a man!

Woman wouldn't say half the stuff that is said here, look at yourselves, most, if not all of you are probably male brained.

It's nothing to be scared of, you are special and brave to admit it rather than constantly assume it's bad and to try.

Ask yourselves this, would actual women plot the destruction of a small minority group like you people are?

Issues not often explored on these boards, like how Victorians felt about the emergence of indoor toilets.

Knicknackpaddyflak · 13/02/2019 11:01

Have you tried exploring your loathing of women OP?

HumberElla · 13/02/2019 11:01

Nooo! Don’t lock it down!

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 13/02/2019 11:01

The barbie bit especially

Mummyoflittledragon · 13/02/2019 11:01

Gosh something we can agree on. Barbie not a role model to you... or me.

Wrybread · 13/02/2019 11:02

Love this. And live that you're ignoring my and other comments that show the logical fallacy of your arguments 😂

Terrycotta · 13/02/2019 11:02

So I would say that it's gender (the socially constructed roles) which need to be phased out. Would you agree, Terry?

I would say your opinion doesn't match up to what is actually happenign around you.

If you didn't know men could sew, cook and iron in the army then you are a woman OP.

Boys are born with that knowledge.

according to the rabbit working the controls in your head

Mummyoflittledragon · 13/02/2019 11:02

Please noooo don’t lock the thread. So much fun!!

Threewheeler1 · 13/02/2019 11:02

My Dad did National Service.
He could peel a sack of spuds in record time and sew.
Only now I've discovered that these things are a gender yardstick and I should have called him Mum, clearly.
Sorry Dad Mum.

ReaganSomerset · 13/02/2019 11:02

Don't lock it! I don't even know what that means, but it sounds limiting!

Qcng · 13/02/2019 11:02

Victorian era people probably thought against inside toilets Yes, before such a thing as plumbing and underground sewers..

But Victorian women had to fight hard for same-sex public toilets, the first women's loos were burned down. By men. Women were expected to stay inside and public loos undermined this expectation.
Go Victorian feminists, I am grateful to them.

I wonder what OP understand about gender being the tool with which to opress women?

LangCleg · 13/02/2019 11:03

We can leave it if you like, but it has received several reports for goading and incivility, so we felt that locking was a good compromise?

Up to you, Hope, but the chances of this being a serious thread are tiny. OP's banging on about inside toilets for heavens sake!

Let us just have some fun. OP seems perfectly happy to be daft!

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 13/02/2019 11:03

I reported it for being rude and goady

But if the General consensus is to keep it open then im happy to change my mind

OldCrone · 13/02/2019 11:04

What do you mean, Terry?

Pandoraslastchance · 13/02/2019 11:04

Using biological sex is a necessity especially in health care ie prostate cancer and uterine cancers are sex specific and so are the screen tollds and programs so no sex shouldn't go anywhere.

butteryellow · 13/02/2019 11:04

Plus who says short hair and liking to wear trousers is male appearance? Oh right I remember the thousands of years of patriarchy.

Trans, or mis-cultured/mis-timed?

I mean, go back 40-50 years and long hair on blokes was fashionable, Plenty of cultures have trousers as traditional dress for women, or short hair.

Terry - are you sure these people are transgender, and not transcultural?

Mummyoflittledragon · 13/02/2019 11:05

Qcng
And just over a century later some men are doing the same thing to women. Actual natal women, I mean.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 13/02/2019 11:05

The OP is goady and rude...I haven't changed my mind about that

But people seem to be having fun Grin

O4FS · 13/02/2019 11:05

I don’t really understand why this goady fucker bloke is being given the time of day.

Sjofn · 13/02/2019 11:05

Ah, but which woman?

Terrycotta · 13/02/2019 11:05

We have moved on a lot since then.

HopeMumsnet

Give it five minutes.

Because as sure as eggs is eggs, we will be able to determine the sex of the OP, based on whether or not they stick with it, or flit off, distracted by a...um...ooh look! a butterfl...
