Just posting this for information as I happened to see:

On radio 4 the start of a 5 part series where a trans woman talks about masculinity. I suppose it could be said that at least a trans woman is being give a voice, but ... www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0002g99

And on C4 tonight the start of a 3 part series on transitioning. Again it may be that they will have at least one person representing those who regret - but being C4 I doubt it. www.channel4.com/programmes/the-making-of-me

The media seems to be going out of its way to make being trans mainstream and are not under any obiligation to present the other side of the arguement(s).

I suppose for them it is just click bait.

Where are the programmes on the undermining of women's rights, and the loss of women's services and spaces.

I imagine in 10 years time they will start making programmes about how women disappeared at the start of 21st century. I am sure they will make it very dramatic and poignant - but too late to reverse Angry

Let's hope the ratings are poor, I think most people have reached saturation point.

It's all grist to the mill to ramp up the ground level / grassroots women's campaign. Wear your Fair Play for Women or your Woman: Adult Human Female clothing at every opportunity to maintain the public pressure on our parliamentarians.

  1. The first programme is about a transman, who appear to have been woefully underrepresented in the media. (All those brave and stunning women.)
  1. Dont be too sure about C4. They have already produced a very good documentary about transgenderism. And there is every liklihood that their Director of Programmes is fully up to date with the debate.
