I heard it towards the end. Nic was very good, especially the closing words. And I think that interviewers are gradually coming round to probing the trans point of view more.

Dr Nic was brilliant. But also the fact that Helen Belcher wouldn’t discuss face to face - it’s obvious to everyone how feeble their case is.

Nic was great as always. Calm, rational. It is easy to prove that transgender males harm women because they keep harming women. Gender identity doesn't change your sex.

Dr Nic got a lot in - prisons, police visits not appearing on same platform, not allowing meetings to take place and the tweet to Nat West about the Fair Play for Women account. And all in five minutes or so.

I woke up to this, Nic was absolutely fab. H on the other hand just spouted the usual nonsense which just doesn’t stand up to any critical thinking.

It was good. Refusing to come into the studio but prepared to have a discussion on the phone makes you look ridiculous. That won't wash with the general public.

Coverage is definitely getting more balanced. It would be great to be a fly on the wall at the meetings that must have been going on behind the scenes at the BBC.

Howso?Confused Surely nothing can 'deny ones identity', as it's a subjective feeling in one's own mind. It might be challenged, and the idea that it should matter to anyone else (versus objective characteristics) might be challenged - not the same thing.

It's worth a listen, Nic is excellent. Helen whines about people saying they are male as they cease to exist. Nic sys it repatedly! It's funny.

There seem to be significant numbers of transwomen who say they're male but yet manage to survive.

Perhaps it's a bit like religion ... if your faith is so weak it can't be challenged then maybe it's not very real?

I remember Nic's first steps when she first managed to get on radio or television. Although she did well, she was always being put in a position to tick the box of showing another viewpoint to what had already been decided and no one wanting to talk about actual reasons, only 'being nice' so she was always struggling against being wrong-footed.

She has put some hard work into this as well as hard work into all the research of information etc to make it happened, and it is fantastic to hear her and see her grow in stature Flowers
