Bearing in mind that most people say they need guns for protection it's a weird thing to associate with your kid. And if you're going to hope they arm themselves to the teeth for protection, wouldn't you arm the girls first?

This seems to be a dumb American trend - honestly it's so ridiculous and very unhelpful when parents are trying to break down sex stereotypes.
