Really bizarre that the first link doesn't mention that David Kinloch is the same person who killed the victim. Maybe the writer didn't realise because he was convicted under a different name? Pretty crap "journalism" if so.
But the Daily Record refers to the fact that this man was using both names.
He was going by the name David Craigie at the time he killed Sonya Todd. He also uses the surnames Darren and Hutchieson.
He was sentenced to six years (after he beat her to death) and served three years.
The Record concludes "The killer was returned to prison, where he is completing a sentence for historic offences dating back to 2003".
So presumably he's been convicted of other offences under other names.
