Yup, I've outed myself to anyone who knows me IRL because I've been ranting about this since October. I got in touch to say there seemed to be a mistake and they said no, it's a long waiting list. Well I guess my premature menopause isn't going anywhere (it's more complicated than that as you can probably tell from my previous posts on this thread. But the crux of the matter is the specialist retired and he hasn't been replaced).

My pain management appointment took over 18 weeks- again, I guess it isn't going anywhere. And of course once I got the appointment I discovered i wasn't going to be able to retain one of my medications.

Ironically im in Scotland where we apparently have it better....

FIL seems to have had excellent care up there, heart bypass etc. I guess it depends whereabouts you are. And the speciality.

I watched the Heritage Foundation meeting Posie attended, with very moving testaments from mothers who have lost their daughters to the cult, sterilised, given mastectomies and hysterectomies before they were twenty. It made me think about the number of surrogates that will be required in the future.
At present I assume the largest demographic seeking a surrogate are infertile women/heterosexual couples, with gay men hard on their heels opening up the market. In years to come there will be a generation of sterilised trans youth.
Where are all these baby factories going to come from? The wider implication are terrifying.
