Thanks for replying. I think it might be to do with the Jean Hatchett / Posie Parker thing but that's just a guess. And yes, am sure Dr will be involved somehow!

Looks like she is sending out measured thoughts on her experiences and what she is seeing today with the Jean Hatchet blog.

Joani is not afraid to stand up and her values are unshakeable.

Joani is saying that women don't need to have TRAs attacking them - because women are doing a fine job on each other. That's what I'm reading. Joani had put some fantastic work out there. And she gets a lot of muck thrown at her. I'm not surprised she's locked down.

To be fair, the person who claimed that, did indeed release the work before Joani did. Although they may have been doing the same work, it was out before Joani's.

I find it really disheartening that time and time again since I got involved in the campaign against self id and the pushback against trans activism, what happens is one group falls out with another, or individuals.
Last summer a fellow activist and I tried to organise a joint action after we had protested Pride. It was impossible to get all the groups together because of political disagreement. One group would not even meet in the same room as PP. How can we build a broad movement if we are unwilling to be broad?!
This issue transcends party politics, or other issues, it's about one thing only. Protecting women's words and spaces. I will stand with pro abortion women for the sake of this cause. With religious women, with conservative women, because it's about all women. So I don't like something one of them has said about someone, so what?!
To do so is to virtue signal and that's one of the main reasons we are in this fucking mess, because everyone is too scared to say the emperor has no clothes on, for fear of being called a bigot.
Women need to stand up with any woman who will stand up with us, or we will lose everything.

But I will stand with any women who believes our words, laws and spaces are being erased.

That's not true.

I was scratching my head and have had to wait for more cryptic messages and try to piece together what JW was going on about.

I got the impression that JW was infuriated by JeanH's blog post. She asked the question: 'what were Jean's motives?' (I'm paraphrasing). For JW, it was a call to the mob to have a go at Posie Parker for talking to the 'wrong sort'.

For JW, JeanH has done the TRAs work for them - they would love to neutralise Posie and the blog post will be reproduced over and over and over again, by them.

Joani seems to have a healthy critical view about the Left - particularly the way they use a dog whistle to isolate and demonise interest groups with labels like 'terf', 'rightwing' or 'fascist'. She says:

If you believe people should not even talk to others because they have different views to you on abortion or Trump or May or immigration or Corbyn or Israel or ANYTHING then you are no different to those you decry who tell you No Debate on your views.

I also hate the infighting. There is no need for it. We will all think differently about something and many things than another feminist because we are not sheep. And that is perfectly acceptable because feminism is not totalitarian.

All of us who have the shared goal of wanting to protect women and girls need to focus on that which unites us and pull together. Not sewing divisions; it's giving TRAs exactly what they want.

Work together, collaboratively, and leave egos at the door.

I'm afraid I agree with her on this and I'm very sad about it.

I frequently see people say something along the lines of: What have all women got in common? Their biology. Which men can never share.

This is the hill I will die on, along with truth and the refusal to accept that healthy bodies should be mutilated, dosed with hormones and made unhealthy in pursuit of a biological impossibility. I'll stand with anyone who agrees. This is the single most important issue affecting women and girls today.

I am infuriated by the Surrendered wives of the woke who spout TWAW etc. Women like the Canadian chief lesbian whose husband now wears a frock.

Politics and religion can have another day. At the moment women across the world need information, so many have no idea what is happening, people like Martina Navratilova, completely unaware of the threat to women's sport. And when they get the information they need encouragement to make a stand, to find their voice. So many do not dare, are shut down, have to worry about their jobs.

This is the one issue all women can agree on and fight for.
