Here, they tell a victim of rape by her father that she'll be the "biggest slag going".

And here is one of Yorkshire's finest.

DCI Elizabeth Belton found guilty of plotting with police colleague to ‘fit up’ two suspects

"The force could not be contacted for comment". Yeah, funny that.

GerryblewuptheER · 26/01/2019 10:45

Between this and the current issues with humberside police and the lack of funding, we are very quickly going to end up overrun with crime because either no one takes the police seriously or they are too busy investigating non crimes from Twitter.

They need to redeem.themselves , publically. Starting with having the courage to answer to this. Stand up , be honest, and then do better

AngryAttackKittens · 26/01/2019 10:48

Has that force ever done anything right? They're like what would happen if the Keystone Cops elected Satan as their police chief.

HamiltonCork · 26/01/2019 10:52

The force couldn’t be contacted for comment - probably too busy investigating TRAs who’ve had their feelings hurt.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 26/01/2019 10:53

Why are no women's groups with expertise in VAWG being sent in to deliver training? This seems to be a situation where there is a genuine need for 'reeducation'

GerryblewuptheER · 26/01/2019 10:55

Because that kind of stuff takes the rapists and abusers out of the dark allys and seedy night clubs and into the very room.im which they sit and into every memory of " drunk lad banter" and victim blaming questioning.

Easier to hide from.the truth

glenthebattleostrich · 26/01/2019 10:56

The journalists could just mention a certain persons name and they'd have the police queuing up to talk to them.

Popchyk · 26/01/2019 10:57

From a while back:

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2465719/Jimmy-Savile-police-crony-Mick-Starkey-pictured-together.html

Inspector Mick Starkey of WYP was apparently known as Savile's 'bodyguard' and drove the star around in a Rolls-Royce. Starkey contacted Surrey Police in 2009 in order to vouch for Savile as Savile was being investigated for child sexual abuse. The case was subsequently dropped.

"He has previously been named as a key member of the 'Friday Morning Club', a group of police officers and others who would gather at Savile's flat in Leeds on a weekly basis."

HamiltonCork said what I was going to say.

The police are too busy investigating the crime of hurty feelz to have the time to respond to that court case.
