Morgane Oger: SEX does not exist

Oger and friends protested Meghan Murphy's event at the Vancouver Public Library yesterday (Oger compared it to a "holocaust denial party") and then tweeted this:

Remember when Oger thought that protesting a memorial service for the victims of the Ecole Polytechnique massacre would be a good idea because something something cissexism and transphobia? I wonder how many people that peaked. Certainly worked for me.

That may be when the grudge against Megan Murphy started. I think it was her and Gallus who wrote about it.

A collection of sex characteristics are considered to be one's sex.

I am having trouble parsing that phrase due to the word "considered". Sex characteristics (as a class) = xx chromosomes, vagina, vulva, uterus, Fallopian tubes etc = female.

That sounds like an attempt to leave the conclusion open to interpretation, just in case any given person decides that the "conclusion" was wrong in their case and they'd like to be considered to be a female with a flat chest, testicles, a penis, and a desire to stick tampons into little girls, like Oger's friend who must not be named.

Oger is brave and stunning.

Maybe Oger has been having a chat with a certain sports writer, who so eloquently wrote about the female sex characteristics that are being rewritten - bashfulness, being demur, inability to lift anything weighing more than a lipstick.

I've known people with some utterly batshit beliefs. I never challenged them because I thought they were harmless and they'd never be in a position to influence public policy and other people's lives with their batshittery. Lesson learned!

Sensible people look on Oger as a figure of fun. But when they think "who is this guy, why don't I have a bit of a google to find out?", they find that the reality is a very long way from "fun".
