Has anyone else seen this? it’s terrifying....
“Mermaids are informed by Diane Ehrensaft who is a leader in the trans culture movement. Here she discusses how to tell if pre-verbal children have been born into the wrong bodies. They will be put onto drugs at the earliest opportunity with surgery later”

"Born in the wrong bodies".

Bullshit.

BubonicBudgie · 28/12/2018 22:06

Pre verbal. FFS

Rumbledore · 28/12/2018 22:20

If a female toddler pulls barrettes off her hair it’s because she is actually a boy. Utter crap!

Jesus Christ.

"This is a gender message!" this person declares, in reference to a 1-2 year old child tearing barrettes out of her hair.

How about, barrettes are uncomfortable and only the most docile toddlers will tolerate them?

I have two spitfire DAUGHTERS who wouldn't put up with a barrette until much older than that. FFS. This ideology is insidious, limiting GARBAGE.

Purplewithgreenspots · 28/12/2018 22:24

Those poor children! Its all terrifying. Its like in the thirties when all the countries of the world were competing to be the nastiest (eugenics), the Nazis won and then everyone else tried to pretend they had never done it.

Rumbledore · 28/12/2018 22:28

Why would any parent take a pre-verbal child to a gender therapist‽

My toddler gd refused to have bobbles in her hair. I didn't realise that made her a boy.

BubonicBudgie · 28/12/2018 22:32

Maybe a parent with serious MH problems Rumbledore ?

Rumbledore · 28/12/2018 22:38

That’s the only explanation I can come up with...

My dd won’t even tolerate a plain pony tail holder. There was me thinking it was sensory sensitivity (possibly acerbated by drug induced sensitivity due to other health issues) but now I know the truth - she’s a boy!

FFS Hmm

HomeStar · 29/12/2018 15:21

Oh shit, my baby niece refuses to wear dresses. I'd better tell her father about this video straight away. He thinks the child just finds dresses "uncomfortable" or some nonsense. She's already 12 months old, we can't waste any more time before we get a referral for her. You know how long those waiting lists are!

Honestly typing this out even sarcastically has made me feel a little bit sick. What kind of person uses a toddler's innocent self-expression as a justification for medicalising them?

papayasareyum · 29/12/2018 15:37

dangerous, insidious nonsense which can't be challenged because
Transphobia
Transphobia
Transphobia

RedToothBrush · 29/12/2018 16:17

Homestar best do it quick before she tries to kill herself with playmobil.

KataraJean · 29/12/2018 18:20

Lost count of the number of hair slides my DD lost when she was a toddler, now she lives in jeans and jumpers, and pointedly refuses to be interested in make up and nail polish.

Still very much a young woman.

Seriously, do people believe this stuff?
