TRAs going a bit quiet(er) - surprise, do you think?

Last few days we've seen quite a bit more GC pushback, and although some people (Robert Webb especially) have endured a total pile on, in some cases there's been v little.

I saw two TRAs assuring each other this morning that we're just a few very vocal shitty people, probably bots, and the vast majority of people agree with them.

Obvs there's a problem with figuring out what the silent majority think (although I reckon we've got a better chance of being right) but if they've been confusing people not liking to speak up for fear of being labeled transphobic, attacked etc, with agreement, this must be something of a shock...

Reading the twitter responses to Peter Tatchell's misjudged tweet on Martina Navratilova v Rachel McKinnon must have been a shock to TRAs.

Many of the critical respondents will not have have been blocked because they were making their first comments on the debate. (I checked a random selection).

A significant proportion were gay men and they handed Tatchell his arse. TRAs don't tend to challenge men, let alone gay 'siblings'. (Eurgh, what a creepy notion that 'sibling' thing is, shudder, shudder).

When the handful of your supporters includes a shop catering for the 'kink' market, then it might be time to consider whether you're on the right side of history Grin

I’ve seen lots of retweeting of the photo of Emma Watson with her “trans rights are human rights” t shirt, as an attempt I think to gee up the troops and reassure them that not all celebs are against them.

Although they're off school now, many young people will be doing family stuff.

I picture little Avery demanding his mother bring his dinner up to his room and pick up his laundry while he tweets about MRAs' oppression and how women don't exist. I picture the Viz character, 'Spoilt Bastard'.

I read a dramatic tweet about how trans identifying people face challenges this Christmas with their families re deadnaming, asking followers to list their new names. Not the ones mommy and daddy know them as. Lots of boys with awful porno style stereotype names. Nobody was called Sandra.

I'm more concerned about the ring leaders: Susie, Ruth, Edward, Harrop and the whole 'we're still here' agenda.

I agree with @Nicknack, face them down ask them if they mean that women deserve a punishment for refusing to defer to men
