"People will eventually see what's going on"

I thought this was worth a thread in itself. My lovely new friend Julia Robertson who writes for 'After Ellen' (about the only LGBT outlet listening to lesbian concerns about gender ideology) gave me permission to post this DM from her.

"The whole world has gone mad. Any rational lesbian knows this is abusive bc...well...look at us (this WAS more than half of us as kids).

Lesbians specifically said we needed men to speak up, because for anyone to listen, men would have to say it first. I actually said just that in a few articles I've written.

Obviously, you have tons of lesbians writing you in distress, as do I...Why do any of us need to be biologically related to you for you to help us out?..

These despicable homophobes have no idea... the ripple effect they've caused. The depression that I'm seeing in my DMs, calls my wife and I will take at all hours... We are the siblings and the parents. Young lesbians don't have many people listening or speaking up for them. I go off twitter for a couple of days and they get nervous and start DM-ing and emailing...

How dare they make such defamatory and wildly untrue statements about you. It's basic psychology to know that these kids have not even come close to reaching full cognitive brain development. It's also basic knowledge that a lot of us (even celebs like Ruby Rose, Rupert Evert, etc, that are gay) are grateful they didn't grow up in the world of now. I mean come on! At one point I wanted to be Ralph Machio!

This is child abuse. It's known that "blockers" are not a "pause button" ... Liberal studies show 3 out of 4 kids naturally desist when they're not medicalized* (most turn out to be gay & lesbian) I believe another is est 75-95%

...Whereas only 0-10% desist after they've been medicalized (with "blockers") in early childhood. It's gay conversion therapy. Anyone who looks at the numbers would know that. I'm working on this topic for an article. I had to read like 800 pages of APA guidelines.
All these people are liars. They are terrible terrible human beings.

The truth will come out sooner than later. People will eventually see what's going on."

It's nothing short of gay conversion therapy in my opinion.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 19/12/2018 11:06

The only way people are going to see what'sa going on is if we keep talking and making them aware of it.

VickyEadie · 19/12/2018 11:12

Correct.

The important thing to understand here is that puberty itself is the mechanism which resolves dysphoria in the majority of cases.

So puberty blocking actively prevents non-medical resolution in at least two-thirds of dysphoric children, if not more.

LangCleg · 19/12/2018 11:14

Soz for the bold fail.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 19/12/2018 11:15

It's coming in from above, i doubt we will stop it, but as more and more people know what is going on the more truth will come to light.

WallyTheWasher · 19/12/2018 11:23

It’s so wrong and I hate the euphemistic language eg “blockers”. Ie they “block” people who disagree with them; they disagree with puberty so they “block” it. The words do not accurately convey the reality of what is going on
“T” yeah it sounds so cool, like taking an “E” or being in an exclusive club (cult) that knows what T means. Of course testosterone, you don’t wanna say that as it kind of brings it home doesn’t it...
“Top/bottom surgery”. Again, sounds so nice and vague. This is all intentional. Cult cult cult.

To be fair, being Ralph Macchio isn’t a bad aspiration. He’s 57 and still looks about 30! Maybe he’s trans age Hmm

Glinner I hope your friend can get this message out more widely. Good luck to both of you.

fidgetspinner555 · 19/12/2018 12:49

Glinner - thanks for everything you are doing. Yesterday I got so pissed off with men commenting on twitter about trans in sport or other stuff saying "well the feminists won't put up with this, where are the feminists?"

We're fucking here kicking up a major fucking stink and everyone is either throwing us off social media, ignoring us or calling us bigots! How about you fucking say something too!!

Back to the topic:

Conversion therapy indeed. I've recently been looking at this survey about female de-transitioners a couple of years ago. Pretty sure it's been on here before, but worth re-visiting. I've selected some of the comments that struck me:

If anyone ever questions themselves about right side of history etc read the comments on the responses.

www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-RCWYCNGM/browse/?fbclid=IwAR1aMoMlWuqOtv_KPdbqz6WTuRLK48oehGmWxeXwg5KmfpbyocF3pNR3jV8

"Burn every gender clinic to the ground. Transition is conversion therapy."

"I have major body issues due to the effects of Testosterone and my mental health was wrecked by stealth"

"I have experienced the trans community up close and personal from the inside. I went into it completely convinced that trans women are just like any other women. After interacting with a great number of them over a long period of time I now know that they are not, and as a group they have very little care for actual women. Every other avenue of treatment should be investigated first."

"no one told me the truth that I can never be a man, it's simply not possible. I wish people had been honest with me instead of just "yes men" who encouraged my power fantasies"

"it was a childhood/teen phase before I accepted myself as a lesbian as an adult I accepted my real problem was with sexism/homophobia in society not my female body"

"The health concerns about puberty blockers and hormones should be made clear, but nobody talks about them they're always like 'this is the only way to cope!'"

"The only good to come from it was the people I have met in the process of reconciling with being female. I was a train wreck waiting to happen and transition fed the insecurities, anxiety and hopelessness"
