A TRA parody account but such is the state of debate that her most ridiculous pronouncements seem quite plausible!

It's also funny.

Enjoy!

Seems to have gone from Twitter, but here's their petition:

www.change.org/p/matt-hancock-mp-protect-the-rights-of-transgender-babies

Wink
NoseringGirl · 17/12/2018 21:12

The worrying thing is, it's hard to tell if that petition is even parody. Even some of the comments could be plausible.
Though one of them does seem to be blaming feminists and lesbians...

groundcontroltomontydon · 17/12/2018 21:14

'He-Man reeked of toxic masculinity, but at least he was progressive enough to announce his pronouns'

HestiaParthenos · 17/12/2018 21:18

If not for the suggestion to use numbers (and not, say, neutral names) it could have fooled me.

It is really hard to tell parodies apart form genderists being serious. It is all so silly.

They are very funny. It’s worrting that sometimes you can get ‘caught out’ by them!

Freespeecher · 17/12/2018 21:49

I'm still hoping for the return of Godfrey Elfwick.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 17/12/2018 21:50

I haven’t seen Maninpink for a while either. He was having problems with threats from dubious characters and their partner.

QuietContraryMary · 17/12/2018 21:52

Maninpink is a dodgy bastard.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 17/12/2018 21:55

Really? I haven’t heard...

QuietContraryMary · 17/12/2018 22:32

some bits here twitter.com/bindelj/status/1051749509108240384

AspieAndProud · 17/12/2018 23:37

I'm still hoping for the return of Godfrey Elfwick.

He/she (or one of them, at least) has written for the Spectator recently.

The name is passed on from one person to the next like the Dread Pirate Roberts in The Princess Bride.

charis · 18/12/2018 06:11

Thank you so much for this. I've also found a Little OJ parody in the comments. Hope the link works mobile.twitter.com/owanjons84

LittleLebowski · 18/12/2018 07:04

I have really enjoyed lots of Titania's poetry too. Worth checking out her bearded housemate, Jarvis Dupont. Some really inciteful tweets.

Titania MGrath has unmasked h**self: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/03/06/man-behind-woke-twitter-account-titania-mcgrath-people-sick/ It’s not paywalled so you can read the whole article.

EcclesThePeacock · 09/03/2019 09:05

The OJ parody account seems to have been suspended.

Floisme · 09/03/2019 09:14

Whenever something happens now, I always think, 'What will Titania say?'

NeurotrashWarrior · 09/03/2019 09:14

Ahh I think I preferred it when she was still a mystery!

nettie434 · 09/03/2019 09:18

Eccles & Charis if you need an OJ parody, @onionjones84 is funny.

Floisme · 09/03/2019 09:18

I'd also assumed 'Woke' (Titania's book) was part of the parody. I now can't decide whether it's real or whether Janice Turner and the Telegraph and Amazon are all in on the joke. Confused

Zeugma · 09/03/2019 09:42

'Titania' is sufficiently convincing to have made it into Pseud's Corner in Private Eye recently (iirc, with a tweet about the forthcoming publication of her book 'Woke: A Guide to Social Justice').

A correspondent tipped them off and the next edition explained that she might not be entirely serious Grin

Katvonfelttipeyebrows · 09/03/2019 09:49

I kind of wanted her to be a woman!
But the account is for the most part a very good example of wit against shit

Katvonfelttipeyebrows · 09/03/2019 09:54

It's a mistake unmasking himself, loses a bit of its edge.

EcclesThePeacock · 09/03/2019 13:56

if you need an OJ parody

Almost superfluous, I'd have thought?
