Liqorice, Thanks thank you for your story. Please don't minimise it, though I understand. It's all so extraordinarily complex and all cases will be unique but at the end if the day, services cuts are not helping.

I don’t think the fact that many others have a similar story diminishes yours in any way. Our government needs to wake up to the fact that if you slash budgets for every service you are condoning the fact that there will be some lives wrecked in collateral damage. Sadly, they don’t seem to give a shit, but many of us do care and support charities where we can. I posted a link a few days ago about 52 lives - they’re running a Christmas campaign where you can buy presents via Amazon wish lists and there were some wonderful small charities on there doing amazing work.
