Michele Moore on You Tube 'A Woman's Place takes nerves of steel'. Watching this I could actually hear it all clicking into place in my brain. 18k views - she's worked for inclusivity for disabled children in education for 30 years - it's 17 minutes long - It is RIVETING.

I don't need any more peaking but the vulnerable child side of things I am gathering more info about. Thanks will watch some time.

That was really powerful. Thank you.

I'm thinking that moment when you stop thinking ' yes of course I support trans rights, same as gay rights' and start thinking 'umm hang on there's something here that doesn't quite add up'.

For those unable/unwilling to search. This is most definitely worth your time if you haven't seen it already:

Very good point that 80% of trans identifying adults do not seek medical intervention for them selves. And yet they're doing to children...?

She's completely confirmed what I've personally witnessed with a young child in an sen school who was confused about gender and simply wanted gender freedom, later diagnosed with asd and when much older decided they were gay . This was 10 years ago though and luckily everyone kind of knew the truth so it wasn't the catastrophe it could have been. But it was all from tv, media, people telling them they were in the wrong body. They just liked things stereotypically associated with the other sex to the extreme. And it was actually their 'special interest' as it was very obsessive.

Wow! That was briliant. Thanks for sharing.

HumourlessFeminist · 14/12/2018 21:35

Oh, that was really interesting, thanks.

Michele Moore's work is so revealing. The situation with children is just unacceptable and I hate to think of gender non-conforming children being told that they have to transition.

This is also very interesting
