Excellent piece which articulates well the terrifying attack on women's rights to speak out about the real threats to us.

Really good piece . Interesting for a Canadian writer to highlight Mumsnet as one of the few places gender criticism can be discussed. Actually not just interesting; worrying.

She’s brilliant. Brava Meghan. Ridiculous that in 2018 people are arguing that material reality makes them feel unsafe. Well, so what? I’ve felt “unsafe” lots of times and had to sort it out myself. Women every day feel unsafe because they are unsafe, most of the time because men make them unsafe. Bleurgh. Can’t cope with the “unsafe” word anymore. Just bloody well get into the real world you overgrown children and realise that it really is NOT all designed to revolve around you
