Just saw this on AIBU - it's brilliant

Clicking on the burgers brings up info about trafficking etc

In case you haven't heard, Randy's is a rape-joke-and-brutal-porn-genre themed restaurant which had one of its 2 branches shut down last week as a result of financial difficulties feminist campaigning.

Do you realise if you click through the "details" section on the menu link it takes you to links for porn sites? Including descriptions of what is available?

I didn't see any porn sites - I didn't click all the links but the ones I did click took me to news stories - eg: the fake taxi one goes to an article about a taxi driver being convicted of rape - and definitions on the Urban Dictionary.

If it was a marketing ploy I think they would have included images of more appetising looking food, not half eaten burgers that look like they were found on a pavement.

The top one is not theirs it is in response and I think it's great. No burgers are advertised in the op :)

There are no links to porn sites, one of the links takes you to a screenshot showing google search results which look like links, so that may be what you are thinking of.

Oops, you are right - the link still works but if you google you get their real site.

My thread title seems misleading now, sorry! I thought someone had actually hacked into their site and changed things which would have been fun
