Can anyone point me to any articles, books, talks that talk about women deferring to men in meetings etc? I am doing a talk to a secondary school group and will be including some points about speaking up an being heard and wanted to include an article/talk or two in the additional resources list. I particularly want to bang on about this because I've already noticed the girls (all girls school but boys in sixth form) deferring to the boys in group discussions (i.e. asking the boys if they would like to make the point/answer the question even though thy are perfectly capable of doing so).
