Amazing to see the lengths TRAs are going to to try to silence Meghan. It looks like they falsely spread a rumour that she cancelled her Vancouver talk in January which press picked up on.

Feminist Current website is down again. The only gleam of light in this appalling situation is that the TRAs must be getting increasingly worried that their intended takeover might not be going exactly to plan. Why otherwise would they make such efforts to silence strong voices like Meghan's?

Empress yes, there has to be a tipping point somewhere, here as there, but how long will we have to wait for it to materialise? When I see the ranks of the pious massed against truth, reason and justice, and all believing themselves morally superior for doing so, I just don’t know how long it’s going to take to get there.

That was very good. I enjoyed the questioner who was utterly flummoxed at the difference between sex and gender and kept insisting Murphy was arguing for biological essentialism despite being told they had their definitions all wrong.

Yes she just could not deal with Meghan's response other than to keep repeating what Meghan had already explained to be a false understanding of the term.

Then there was the woman at the end with her science references that would definitely change Meghan's views. Which I'd bet money would have been that Nature op ed they all go for.

It often seems to me that TRAs and allies are either easily impressed by the SCIENCE and incapable of reading anything more complicated, or think their opponents are stupid. I tend to think the former is a factor, because when you ask them to explain it in their own words they rarely can.
