I am filling in a survey about the Edinburgh Uni Students Association. I was looking for some help from mumsnetters for the following questions. I think I am ready to out myself as GC, and want to make a point about their "woke" nonsense. For example pronoun badges, ann henderson, stickers. Dont want to sound unhinged though. Any suggestions welcome.

The SA is good at...
The SA is bad at...
The SA could be better if...
The SA SHOULD exist to...
I would get more involved if...

I think we'd need to know more about what they're good and bad at.

I'm not familiar with EUSA
I agree with VickyEadie

We don’t know what they do so hard to advise you. But maybe ‘listening to women’ might be an area to suggest they improve?

Certainly good at working to ensure people don't stray too far from "correct" thinking:

Ah! That was back in October when Ann Henderson tweeted details of a meeting. Not sure how things have developed since then.

I see that it is St. Andrews day today. I hope that everyone has a lovely celebration.

I wouldn’t fill in a survey unless it's anonymous. They will probably try to get you expelled.

purplebutterflybiscuits · 30/11/2018 18:53

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not sure if it is anonymous. I am currently failing badly anyway, so being expellend wouldnt be a huge disaster!

Answers I'd put in order (outside of the first, BTW, all of them true in my college days)

-policing language
-encouraging people to explore ideas
-they valued academic opportunity and exploration
-promoting the best environment to study in
-if it had any real connection to my goals in life.
