I've just seen that this comedian is coming to my city, so I might go and see her. Anyone seen her before? is she good?

No, but I love the podcast! I have tickets for the show nearest to me.

Way too libfem for my taste. Stopped listening after the episode with avery Edison as a guest- he can't go for more than 5 minutes without smirking about his dick. Nothing against dick jokes, but not in a show that's supposed to be relatable for women.

It says she will have likeminded comics and performers with her, so each show will be different. That penis guy sounds ridiculous!

Some of it is very funny but they are very lib fem and do hate offending the trans lobby

I love the podcast. In fact the podcast is so well produced, you can just flip to the next segment if someone annoys you.

I enjoy the opportunity to listen to funny women talking about women’s concerns; when they get to woke for words, I just move on.

It’s a great vehicle to discover female comedians (Sindhu Vee is a new favourite). I’d go - you can always go and get a drink if it’s all to libfem. :-)

Yes I saw it earlier this year. She was fantastic; thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

I haven't listened for ages but it used to have Sophie Hagen aa a cohost who's funny, to be fair - but woker than woke. She won't play a venue unless they have gender neutral toilets and she tried to run the GF facebook group as an intersectional feminist group. It was a massive clusterfuck of woker-than-thou libfems and transwomen aggressively policing everyone.

Deborah Francis White took over and she's also funny but saner!

I'd go if I had tickets.

Never heard the podcasts but went to see her at Edinburgh Festival where she was the compère for Amnesty’s Secret Policeman’s Ball. She is undoubtedly very funny, but the more she used the term ‘cis wonan’ the more I slumped down in my seat.

With regard to the GRA consultation she pointed people in the direction of Stonewall to help them with their submissions. She does, however, try to come over as the voice of reason saying that TRAs should not use terms such as TERF but rather ask questions and use reasoning to win people over.

I tried listening to the podcast but found it so bloody offensive being referred to as cis women Angry.

uglyandlovingit · 26/11/2018 13:14

Ah, the c-word is a deal-breaker for me. I'll be giving this a miss then.

I saw Deborah Frances White live a few years ago and she was very good. Disappointed to hear its gone cis-tastic.

SlightAggrandising · 26/11/2018 17:59

Far too lib & supportive of gender constructs for me. Some of its good & entertaining but I'd not pay money to be called cis. No way.
