And I now understand the fear that has been expressed in some threads here.Flowers

What fear?

arranfan · 22/11/2018 00:14

Yes - from a number of comments I've seen on the thread about it, it looks like it's the first time people have seen the extended video of the Bristol protest (amongst other things):

The fear of what? There was quite a lot of things covered, give us a clue!

Physical fear. Fear of danger to the body.

I am not ok with young, peak physical men intimidating women.

It is disgraceful. I think that many people will share your shock, Dione. The media has not been good at reporting this.

I found that a pretty frightening watch and thought all the people inside were being really brave before the talk started. I hope that guy who was physically holding them from entering the room was okay.

Venice Allen came across as extremely brave when she was calling the police, but I bet they were all scared.

It was also disturbing when the woman shouted down the stairwell she was there for women's rights and they all started shouting 'trans women are women' just like that scene in The Life Of Brian. It's scary to see what an brainless mob of aggressive youths look like.

That mob were a million miles from all the thoughtful people who participated in the doc.
