Times article today about a transgender child who murdered their Fathers lovers husband....Arthur aged 20 appeared in court under their birth name Heather. Scentenced to 15 years.
Sorry I can’t do a clicky link, but seems an awful case where the husband was killed, but ultimately this Heather/Arthur was desperate for their fathers approval, and was possibly under their control.
Interesting how The Times have reported the birth name.....why is this not always the case?

Probably because they were not born with a penis.
They only seem to cover these things up when it's a male who committed the crime.

Your account is a bit simplified.

Hayley Weatherall is married to Raymond Weatherall
Raymond is terminally ill with brain cancer
Hayley has affair with Glenn Pollard, best friend of Raymond
Glenn Pollard has a FTM child, Arthur, born Heather

Hayley & Glenn plot to murder Raymond, using Arthur/Heather as the killer.

"Heather/Arthur Pollard was “devoted” to his father and “cold and calculating” when interviewed by the police. "

Heather/Arthur tried to murder Raymond three times, firstly by shooting him ' under instruction from his father. Heather/Arthur Pollard was “desperate” for paternal approval and joined the conspiracy with “enthusiasm”.'

then by taking Glenn's rifle, under Glenn's instruction, and shooting him in the face. This failed

Heather/Arthur researched insulin overdoses, and gave Hayley sleeping pills & an insulin pen to murder Raymond with. However, Hayley was unable to do so.

There also may have been attempt to kill with an exploding swimming pool heater, and plans to throw him overboard at sea.

The Sun has Heather, who doesn't seem to pass at all, as 'daughter'.

The would-be murder victim blames the other man for everything.

In my heart of hearts I am convinced that she was brainwashed by him. He wanted my wife. He was my best mate for more than 20 years. Now I just think he’s a low life. He’s nothing more than a dirty, rotten, stinking, conniving bastard. But why couldn’t they have just come to me and told me they were having an affair?

"They didn’t have to try to kill me. I’m gutted over the whole situation. I’ve lost my wife, my best friend, for what? He could have waited and had her.”

Crikey. That reads like a bad comedy film. Poor Raymond!

Thisisouting · 21/11/2018 15:03

I heard it reported on the radio as his daughter

QuietContraryMary · 21/11/2018 15:04

I had a look at 'Arthur's' facebook, there's a comment on there from November 2016 "Hi arthur who are you in the pollard family.", but in April 2016 still apparently called Heather. Their username is 'Erik Pollard'.

This is Arthur's pet-sitting business arthurpollard98.wixsite.com/faithfuls

I'm not quite sure why they are being so thoroughly deadnamed when they do seem to have change their name to Arthur.

I read about that case the other day and was flabbergasted. What kind of family dynamic/developmental disaster has gone on for a young person to agree to shoot their dad's best friend in the face? I wonder if Pollard Jr was on testosterone. There seem to have been a few cases where taking cross hormones has resulted in personality issues. The one I'm thinking of is the Australian mass shooter who was mtf and blamed his violence on oestrogen therapy. No idea if an endocrinologist would support that theory.

Mary thanks for the link.
bittermints yes I agree, questions should be asked as to what (if any) medication this young person was taking.

I don't think Arthur was taking T. Look at the mugshot. They don't look virilized at all.

Arthur is butch at best.

Bittermints · 21/11/2018 15:18

If that's a police mugshot it worries me that Arthur was grinning. The older two aren't. I wonder if that kid had any grasp of what they were getting into. It's hardly a joke to be arrested for attempted murder.

QuietContraryMary · 21/11/2018 15:32

Arthur's FB etc. suggest Arthur is of average or above intelligence. They do seem quite devoted to animals, albeit there's a photo of them having shot a rat (?) with an air rifle

PetuliaBlavatsky · 21/11/2018 15:36

It's a very bizarre story, but I just wanted to point out it was (repeated) attempted murder, not murder. Thankfully they did not succeed and Raymond is still alive.

happydappy2 · 21/11/2018 16:19

Petulia have asked for title to be amended-thanks
