I wish Sophie luck, Sophie is not the 'problem.'

If you're a woman working for amazon you do not have the right to a female only safe space. So, no naughty miscarriages at work Amazon ladies! Don't you dare try any of those peri-menopausal endless bleeding tricks either.

And you're going to have to try harder at identifying yourself out of your rape ptsd.

‘Don’t ask me what surgery I’ve had’ reads as ‘I’ve still got all my bits. Aren’t you pleased to be sharing a bathroom with me?’

HamiltonCork · 17/11/2018 10:15

Yes - if they don’t want to discuss their surgery it always means they’ve still got a cock. So bored of all the tweeness surrounding TRA narrative.

Anyway, how brave and stunning for Amazon to treat transwomen do well. Are we supposed to be distracted from the fact they pay fuck all tax and treat the other 99.99% of their workforce like shite.

Also - why is the BBC doing a PR piece for Amazon? Is this really what I pay my license fee for.

Serfisafleur · 17/11/2018 10:29

the tech sector isn't exactly renowned for its diverse workforce

Transwomen are vastly over represented in the tech sector. Funnily enough ppl born female are vastly underrepresented.
Obviously now with so many more TW, tech corporations can start to write off that female underrepresentation. Bravo.

Amazon's works rights record is sparkling.

So sparkling they have pr campaigns about it.

Its all about snowballs. If its acceptable here, its acceptable there. Before long you have an avalanche.

UpstartCrow · 17/11/2018 14:07

If there's no problem for women then its easier to make the mens unisex, thats where the urinals are; and men don't need privacy to manage menstruation or miscarriage.

AspieAndProud · 17/11/2018 14:08

I know they are probably named after the river rather than the lengendary race of female warriors but it’s still ironic.

And how many Amazon jobs are actually in ‘tech’? Most of the people working there work shifts at ungodly hours packing boxes for a pittance.
