Check out the map on FPFW's prisons petition.

The places with the most signatures include some of the most woke areas with loads of transactivists or high profile individual TAs e.g.

Brighton
Bristol
Cambridge (transwoman Sarah Brown is local)
Lewisham (Lily Madigan recently moved there and is behaving like - well, Lily Madigan)

Interesting!

Well I'm in south Leicestershire and have signed so maybe it's not entirely accurate

UpstartCrow · 12/11/2018 19:46

MayhapsIAm Did you click the link in the email they sent you?

ecosomething · 12/11/2018 20:31

This is not a huge surprise. Apart from likely generational and sex differences I would expect the demographic profile and political outlook of transgenderism supporters and the demographic profile and political outlook of gender critical supporters to have a lot of crossover. Partly why the debate has been so infuriating in many ways.

EverardDigby · 12/11/2018 20:37

Leicester South is in the city, South Leicestershire County. The names are v similar!

SuperSange · 12/11/2018 20:38

61 in mine!!

naivetyisthenewblack · 12/11/2018 21:25

Electron1 interesting, quite similar isn't it.

There’s a fair chance those from round my way will make up 5%+ of the attendees of LAWS Wink

Lysistrataknowsherstuff · 12/11/2018 22:52

1-5 signatures in my area - me, DM, DF, DH so I suppose there could be one more person out there.

What's the opposite of woke? Rural, farming area, the biggest town in the constituency is 25,000 people at the most. Nearest university around 70 miles away. Whatever the opposite is, that's us.

9 in my very unwoke constituency. Think I'm responsible for at least 3 of themGrin
Tbh I don't think it's really in the pu lic domain here. Working class area where people have real problems.

AngryAttackKittens · 12/11/2018 23:09

Yep - the more exposure you have to TRA talking points the more obvious it becomes that it's all nonsense, and nobody enjoys being around AGPs.

AnonymousIsAWoman · 12/11/2018 23:12

Oh 3! So that’s my mother, my sister and me then.

ShimmyShimmyYa · 12/11/2018 23:15

Leeds NE 21 signatures- get in!!

naivetyisthenewblack · 13/11/2018 09:10

Sheffield has none in one of its wards. AIBU to find that surprising?

OP posts:
naivetyisthenewblack · 13/11/2018 09:12

Dudley, Wolverhampton and Bromwich wards also with none. Surely some MNers / GC feminists there?!

OP posts:
Threewheeler1 · 13/11/2018 09:50

12 in mine, 2 from this house.
I really thought there'd be more but hey ho, it'll come.
You couldn't describe my MP as woke in any sense of the word which is a bonus.
He's publicly stated he is against the changes to GRA and confirmed it in letter to me after I wrote. I imagine his seat will be safe for life so there won't be any surprises on that front.
Think I'll send a link to the petition to a few more people.

EverardDigby · 13/11/2018 17:03

MayhapsIAm I've looked at the actual map now I'm on my computer (didn't work on my phone) and it is South Leicestershire and not Leicester South that there are no signatures - did you click the email link? If not, you probably need to sign again!

chuntersalot · 13/11/2018 17:17

Just 2 signatures in mine so that would be me and one other. Need to get sharing it. Rural and remote constitutency, not the least bit woke.

FlippinFumin · 13/11/2018 17:25

10 signatures in my area, well done us.

derikthesheep · 13/11/2018 17:34

17 in mine!

Stilettosandan0venglove · 13/11/2018 23:48

Fascinating, thanks OP. Looking at the map has made me think of a few people I can send it to.

moofolk · 13/11/2018 23:50

I'm a bit surprised at the low numbers in some places, when I am adding up the people I actually know who live there. BUT it makes me feel good about sharing these petitions and encouraging people to sign as we can see the difference in numbers!

naivetyisthenewblack · 14/11/2018 00:14

What gives in Dudley, West Bromwich & Wolverhampton?

Several wards right next to each other without a single signature.

OP posts:
SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 14/11/2018 08:39

I'm the only person who has signed in my constituency - the rest of the city has quite a few though.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 14/11/2018 08:42

Sheffield has none in one of its wards. AIBU to find that surprising?

That constituency is a mix of a large elderly population and a very deprived area where people, frankly, have other things on their minds.
