Colleague - recently declared non-binary - has just had a moan about how much they hate diversity at work that only focuses on women, but doesn't non-binary people like "themself".

It's taking all my self-control not to point out that their natal sex is NOT EXACTLY INVISIBLE, so the vast majority of the population would automatically and unthinkingly categorise them in the "diversity for women" pot, ie part of the group that should be increasing its presence in our workplace. SO 'THEY' IS ALREADY INCLUDED.

Sigh.

I noticed from WPATH2018 tweets that NBs will soon have their own chapter in the improved Standards of Care twitter.com/green_susie100/status/1059806703758262272.

Imagine if women could get this kind of support...

Thingybob - thanks for the link showing the tweet of WPATH's plans for NB care.

The draft statement seen via the link says people IDing as non-binary "may require additional support in view of a higher prevalence of minority stressors (compared to binary trans and cisgender people)"

This suggests that in the view of WPATH, NB people now win the Oppression Olympics & occupy the position of "most put upon" population in the progressive stack. Ridiculous.
