Do mens rights activists seriously just troll MN for gossip to share on twitter? Nothing is for women, is it..
How strange to spend your life that way, just waiting to screen shot 'wrong think' to share with the mob.

Oh they totally do....A Haddock loves mumsnet towers & all the bigoted transphobes who use it......the fact he can't see we're concerned parents speaks volumes about his, ahem 'empathy'

You say mob. I say a few basement dwellers forever wanking alone. Grin

Someone once, a tra no doubt, tweeted a screenshot of one of my comments on mn 😀 I felt like it made it into a secret club😂 I saw this on fb earlier, a nice contrast to all the woke tweets i keep seeing.

Who is he, do you know Random? I couldn't catch everything the girl was saying to him, but I love his bluntness.

ToeToToe · 06/11/2018 22:57

That is Ben Shapiro.

DancelikeEmmaGoldman · 06/11/2018 23:28

I think Ben Shapiro is a conservative gadfly. He makes sense in this clip, but his thing is to stick it to what he sees as liberal snowflakes, using whatever topic is at hand. I’m not convinced he’s a supporter of women’s rights, more that he’s against whatever he thinks the left is for.

Although the young person he was talking to remained calm and pleasant, it was a bit of a case of don’t take a knife to gun fight. The student had lots of conviction but no real argument. Ben Shapiro is very bright and articulate, but his ethics are dubious.

I was trying to imagine if that had been a gender critical woman. I doubt the students would have been so respectful.

Letawomanspeak · 06/11/2018 23:35

Well, that page is gone now so I guess they do actually spend all their time trolling MN for 'wrong think'. 😂😂😂😂

"I was trying to imagine if that had been a gender critical woman. I doubt the students would have been so respectful."

No, they wouldn't because they still typically believe in and try to uphold gender roles/stereotypes. I feel the same way about Shapiro, he has a quick wit and is a great 'showman' but he ain't always that bright and isn't that knowledgeable. He's anti choice after all.

What I struggle to come to terms with is this idea that mothers are all pure and submissive and quiet. All this shock horror at the thought of mothers engaging in discussions that may cause offence is mildly amusing to be honest.

Makes me wonder what kind of household they grew up in, or is it just that their narcissistic personalities prevented them from actually seeing or hearing their own mothers enough to understand that they're living, breathing THINKING humans?
