What has become apparent to me over the last 6 months is that many journalists view the tweet out of context. They don't seem to do much chacking, just take a tweet from a particular story regardless of who it comes from.

I have had the displeasure of interacting with that Katie before. Absolutely vile human being.

Katie likes to have the final say in a Twitter conversation, for example:

'I'm female after being assigned male at birth, so I've just proved you wrong'

These are the people who used to write rambling letters in green ink to the newspapers.

But sadly back in the day they had to find some writing paper, select the green crayon, scrawl out a few lines, fold the paper, put it in an envelope, lick the envelope, lick the stamp, amble off the the post office... ain’t instant social media grand?

I like Harlan Coben. I particularly like that he acknowledges that in some of his early books he normalised the use of prostitution (he wrote a recurring character that had a penchant for hookers, and there were frequent references to Win picking them up and then getting rid of them) but in later books this has been very much toned down, in response to reader feedback

It hasn't been an enlightening experience.

Femfrag weird Femfrag account, the one of the hilarious "anonymous" video. They dont retweet much, mainly rage against Caroline and Posie , but they did retweet Katie.

Again, it's odd the reach they have for such a small number of followers.

OK thank you. I don't know how anyone takes any of them seriously. It's like the world is trolling women.

The person in the red sleeveless top/dress in larger picture was a member of the audience at a talk show (think BBC Sunday with Nicky Campbell?). This person was describing how outrageous it was when they were stopped by a supermarket security guard going into the women's toilet. Think they said 'because obviously I am a woman' or similar.
