..live on a housing estate. We have a local round the corner, typical estate pub. Often men drinking at the bar after manual labour type jobs, some families, pool table and sky sports in the corner.

It's a fairly traditional typical boozer, not a gastro type pub.

5PM and a bloke falls off his chair, pissed, the landlady sends him home.

10 minutes his mate wanders off towards the ladies which is on one side of the bar - the men's is on the opposite side of the pub. He's drunk and very typically male looking and as he approaches the door of the ladies the landlady bellows "oi, dude, that's the ladies you divy - the blokes is over there."

He wanders back towards the men's. The landlady announces generally to the bar that the pub is full of divy's tonight.

If that scenario played out under self-ID could she be prosecuted?

I shouldn't think so, as he wasn't claiming to be a woman, was he?

Good point, BoF, I don't know how it works. Are people allowed to challenge under self ID, or can that be construed as harassment?

A burly bloke going into the ladies could be construed as sexual harassment.

We need to be more assertive and turn these around.
