I have just read this thread on twitter and this post horrified me. MP s and others telling us that there is no risk to women, this is what all our single sex spaces will turn into.
I am so angry on behalf of this woman and her daughter.

Oh no. I mean it's only trans people who wouldn't lie. Would you believe sone people don't believe trans people rape either because rape is about power and cis women have more power than trans people who are the most opressed marginalised people on the world

Actually no! Transgenderism is a present day trend. Similar to the Goth trend. A true transgender is extremely rare. Those who choose to enact this portrayal do so for various reasons not often clearly understood by themselves. Many do so, like the Goths - to create a culture shock to society and bring attention to themselves. Generally such people are insecure in society and finding a like group gives them more confidence. Anyone who believes differently is a fool. The other reason why trangenderism is on the increase is due to the results of taking illegal drugs. Many of the drugs change the hormones of humans making them believe that they are more masculine/feminine. This is a well published phenomenon. The fact that such people are nervous about using public toilets supports the fact that they are not comfortable with the form they have chosen. There are many incidences of such people changing regularly between being female/male. So no - they do not understand their gender at all.
Even those who spend huge amounts of money on their appearance i.e. lady boys - are clearly males when you encounter them up close.

And PP is correct... they'd never ever just be an obnoxious person knowingly causing distress or discomfort to others because they can.
