Just having a nosey on gov.uk, and found that they are misrepresenting the Equality Act, I believe.

I'd like to make a complaint somehow, but I don't see the best place for this - the online complaints form is about services you've received etc.

Maybe the 'get in touch' button for having trouble completing the form as a start?

It shows how deep the lies misinformation has gone about this doesn't it?

Maybe selecting the none of the above option and putting it in there? It is really wrong that "Sex" isn't one of the major listed categories.

PurpleOva · 31/10/2018 17:53

There are two get in touch buttons on that page though, the get in touch one, and a feedback one on the top.

gah!

why would you actively prevent people from seeing if they can get legal aid if they;ve suffered from discrimination on the basis of sex??

i've emailed the CLA to point out the omission

Theinconstantgardener · 31/10/2018 18:30

I tried it and none of the above just goes to a 'Legal aid doesn’t cover all types of problem' page Angry.

There's an "Is there anything wrong with this page?" button at the bottom.

badgirlswotcheragonnado · 01/11/2018 09:58

I'll try that button, see what happens.

I've sent a request for a call back. We'll see what they say!

Dead end - the call back was from an outsourced legal firm.
