Just when you think it can't get more devient

Fallingirl · 28/10/2018 20:44

“...How to approach a naked ten-year old girl to ask for a tampon...”

I have no words.

VickyEadie · 28/10/2018 20:53

“...How to approach a naked ten-year old girl to ask for a tampon...”

The layers of WTF? in that are making my head spin. It's fetishistic, paedophiliac, autogynephile, predatory, male misogyny in one sentence.

Nuffaluff · 28/10/2018 20:53

Beauticians getting prosecuted because they don’t want to be part of someone’s fetish. This could actually happen. Bloody hell.

BlackeyedGruesome · 28/10/2018 20:58

Aweful.

Vicky has summed it up well.

WTF indeed

Avegemitesandwich · 28/10/2018 20:58

I don't get the approaching the 10 year old for a tampon bit?

Nuffaluff · 28/10/2018 20:58

Thing is, I’m sure there are beauticians who are qualified to do men’s bits and are happy to. Lots (well not lots, some) of men get it done. Why not just go to one of them?
Sorry, stupid question.

Avegemitesandwich · 28/10/2018 20:58

Do I just not get it because its so WTF?!

RiverTam · 28/10/2018 20:59

It’s a gateway to pedophiles.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 28/10/2018 21:17

Even more repulsive than asking a child for a tampon is the rest of that sentence, "and whether it is appropriate to show a young girl how to use it." I just can't.

Avegemitesandwich · 28/10/2018 21:30

Is it claimed that he asked this stuff on a forum? And he says it wasn't him and his account had been hacked? What kind of forum?

nauticant · 28/10/2018 22:07

The question to ask is why a transwoman would ask a child who is on the edge of menarche for a tampon than a 45 year old woman. I have my own thoughts about this.

CourageEverywhere · 28/10/2018 22:17

Why would a trans woman ever ask anyone for a tampon? They will literally never need one.

I can think of several answers to that question, all of which would be deleted and all of which might result in my being banned for being too honest.

GoldenWonderwall · 28/10/2018 22:27

Lawyers seriously used online posts asking for the etiquette in how to approach naked little girls to ask for tampons as evidence that someone lives as a woman? Wtf?

AngryAttackKittens · 28/10/2018 22:30

OK, trying to phrase this in a non-deletable manner. We surely have multiple 45 year old women on this thread (or thereabouts). Would any of us, if we found ourselves in need of a tampon, think that the thing to do would be too approach random naked 10 year olds and ask them if they had one?

IdaBWells · 28/10/2018 22:33

The point is these insane laws open up the gates of Hades in front of men who think of the most deviant and outrageous ways to cross all reasonable boundaries for women and girls. The fact this man is bringing cases against all these women who have a small business and probably could destroy them financially if he won or force women out of business if they don’t want to be waxing a man.

The needs and respect due to women as individuals is just missing in this insanity. The misogyny!!!!

IdaBWells · 28/10/2018 22:34

Why does a male bodied person need a tampon? Who shows 10 year olds to use tampons? Not random men.

AngryAttackKittens · 28/10/2018 22:39

Also it's disturbing how very specific the fantasies of some males are, and I would really prefer if they would keep those fantasies to themselves. It would be great if our social and legal systems and the policies of organizations stopped actively enabling them in their quest to act out those fantasies.

I read it the opposite way - I think the beautician's lawyer used it as evidence that JY had sinister intentions.

Yes, that's clear from the article. This exposure of JY's statements online will, I hope, earn them the attention of Canadian detectives. Anyone who says things like that about 10 y.o girls is likely to be a very dangerous individual.
