Disappointed in Samantha Bee

I normally love Samantha Bee, but her latest show had a segment on trans-right where she shook her head about the a legal definition (I can't believe it even needs a legal definition) that sex in humans can't be changed and somehow that threatens the rights of transgender people.

I couldn't even finish watching it. It's not the first time she had a segment about it, but it's so disappointing that an otherwise intelligent woman and straight talking comedian can be so brain washed with disregard simple biology.

That is distressing. Colbert toed the party line, too, earlier this week. I have the impression that heterosexual US leftists are not very familiar yet with the extreme demands of this ideology or the contours of the ever-widening Stonewall umbrella. I think most are still in the knee-jerk mode of "we should all be kind to this small number of old-fashioned transsexuals, and anyone who questions what is going on is doing it out of bigotry and hatred."
