Heart Attack

There are different signs for heart attacks in male and female human beings.

I have asked this question many times on twitter etc and been blocked. Of course.

If you are a trans woman, which signs for a heart attack should your family/ whoever is with you at the time, and then, the doctors look out for/ follow?

The trans women who state they "have always been women" - should we follow the female route of treatment?

It really depends on your priorities.

If validating the patient's identity is the more important, use the female list.

If keeping the patient alive is the more important, use the male list.

I've heard that doctors are under instructions to treat the person as being whatever they say they are. This may well lead to inappropriate treatment, hastening the patient's death. Not a good way to work.

There was a thread on here earlier this year about a case in the US or possibly Canada, somewhere woke anyway, of a transman I.e. biological female, who had kidney disease of some sort but insisted on being treated as a man - sex makes a difference to treatment where the kidneys are concerned, different values being used for m&f. Also, exogenous testosterone is contraindicated with kidney conditions, but the patient denounced the stopping of their T as 'transphobic' and took themselves off somewhere where they would continue to give testosterone. Last heard of in end-stage kidney failure, I believe.

This reminds me of the Posie Parker vs Doctor Haddock interview on Sky News.

Posie: When a patient comes into A&E, do you first ask them their gender identity?
Harrumph: No of course I don't.
Posie: Well then you can tell who's a woman or a man then (or something to that effect)

Anyone who hasn't seen it, it's worth a watch.

That is a really good point and one I might make with my woke niece.

A bit like when Posie asked Dr Hassock whether he asked how patients identified before treating them and he said 'of course not'!

Was just about to post to say it depends whether you're Haddock or not.

I wonder this quite often as both my parents have had heart attacks and they were completely different.

I also wonder re Dr Harrop if a trans woman came to him with symptoms of E.g. prostate cancer, would he pretend it was something else?!

I also wonder this.

What are doctors supposed to to if self id goes through?

Will "women" have prostate checks and "men" have smears?

Take it to the extreme - will trans women be given fertility treatment? If they ARE WOMEN then they must be treated equally to adult human females. How will this present itself?

There’s also the concern that men and women respond differently to treatments such as for example chemotherapy.

I know that doctors are supposed to be chill about naked bodies for obvious reasons but if a man went to a gynaecologist for a pelvic exam couldn't that be considered a form of sexual assualt? Putting the gynaecologist into that position of being forced to interact w/ male genitalia with no medical purpose?
