I realise this may seem a remote prospect at the moment but was wondering today what a world which is truly fair and equal for all genders would look and feel like. These are just some of my thoughts:
- All sex is consensual
- No sexual harassment
- Equal job opportunities political and judicial representation
- Sexual objectification in the media and advertising is outlawed.
- Proper sex education worldwide focussing on partner pleasure, consent and sexual health
- An end to the gender stereotyping of both men and women so statements like "grow a pair, be a man, that's not ladylike" become history
- Pornography is properly regulated, includes only consensual images and is accessible only from 18
- Some kind of safe technology is introduced which allows sexual desire to be switched on and off so those worried about unhealthy desires can just switch then off, likewise an end to sexual frustration.
I'd be interested in people's thoughts on these.
