Yup, no red-flags here, just another heartwarming story of someone discovering their authentic self - and certainly not trying to escape anything toxic - definitely not...

The acting looks a bit better than Butterfly - I think the story looks identical without the Mermaids product placement. Yep, lets keep selling the medicalisation route to families and children, and ignoring other issues which are underlying. What could possibly go wrong?

Actually - did it mention in the trailer sexual abuse - because that couldn't possibly be a reason for someone to reject their body/changing body in puberty could it. I mean if that was the case we'd see it in self harming and eating disorders ...

Oh.

What dreadful acting!!

What dreadful acting!!

Lol. I thought it was better than Butterfly - granted I need a coffee but perhaps I shouldn't be judging. Grin Or maybe the acting in Butterfly is just that bad.

I think the trailer is a bit screechy and manic.

KittyKlawsReturns · 22/10/2018 09:17

Oh its the mother who was abused I think. Confusing. The trailer is dominated by the shouty beardy man.

It's all done along the same lines as 'no son of mine is gay, how could he be, I'm a macho male influence in his life' shouted in a threatening way.

I hate it.
