It's quite hilarious. As if PP doesn't have a right to link to an article about the billboard she paid for being removed as a hate crime.

The poll that's mentioned in the screenshot is at that link.

Oh dear... no is up to 86%

pancaketosser · 20/10/2018 18:12

Considering that there's another thread about dealing with terfs which says that it's ok, because really there's only a handful of us with a few hundred sock puppet accounts, there's not enough of us to skew the poll anyway.

IKeepFlouncing · 20/10/2018 18:34

Racheat - is my new made up word.

All the Racheats out their having to vote million times just says it all, I also bet they convince themselves that joe public is behind them and voting to take it down.

Take it down and another will go up! More and more people are becoming aware of this bollocks. Women will never give up! Never!

MustBeDreaming · 20/10/2018 19:09

I imagine most gender critical women have a lot less time available to mess around with things like sock puppet accounts than large swathes of the TRA movement. I'm far too busy chasing after my toddler for that sort of shenanigans!

PositivelyPERF · 20/10/2018 20:14

Don’t you love the way it’s not just the choice between YES or NO, but the choice between YES, ABSOLUTELY or NO? It would suggest that the paper expected everyone to feel so sorry for ‘the most oppressed’ people in the world. Oops! Grin

Juells · 20/10/2018 20:31

Oops, 87% No now. Has anyone not voted? Before I voted I thought that it gave the number who'd voted, but I can't see it now. It would be interesting to know.

"Sad little women?"

Hear me roar!

lydiamajora · 20/10/2018 20:49

Up to 87% with 4000+ votes, though not sure how far over 4000 the + is...

IKeepFlouncing · 20/10/2018 21:02

Oh exciting my tshirt should arrive Monday, won’t have to keep washing same one all the time.

Will I be asked to remove it 🖕🏻

RedToothBrush · 20/10/2018 21:30

I hope that you all have done, what LGBTLd guide to transphobes say women do, and get all six thousand of your sock puppets to vote cos I'm worried about this random poll in a regional online newspaper. It's hugely important and requires mass moblisation. Anyway I best log out,and get cracking. Hopefully by tomorrow the vote will have had 4,446,664 votes for us to their pesky few. That'll show em!

Barracker · 20/10/2018 21:30

The thought of them all sitting in their my little pony onesies frantically refreshing their browsers over and over to revote multiple times, and STILL such a vast majority are saying, 'no censorship, thanks' with their single vote, cheers me immensely.

RedToothBrush · 20/10/2018 21:31

Flipping ridiculous.
Honestly.

IKeepFlouncing · 20/10/2018 21:42

Grin Barracker

Nobody tell them we far to busy on trust pilot with Ocado as batphone doesn’t have panic button for multitasking help

Barracker · 20/10/2018 22:01

I should say, too, that Leeds-live have made it very easy to repeat vote several times a minute if one is so inclined, which I am not, given that I am currently dicking around on Mumsnet instead.

However that's somewhat of a design flaw and not brilliant of them to have allowed it.
Knowing as we do how terribly talented a certain demographic are for IT I'm sure they are exploiting that poll vulnerability for all it's worth whilst we mere mortals place our single solitary vote and toddle off elsewhere.

I've no idea if the Times Poll had a similar vulnerability, but I suspect not, given the outcome!

Dacresmallwilly · 20/10/2018 22:50

Surely they can't be actual women as well as a minority #confused

LorettasBox · 20/10/2018 23:06

According to Owl there are actually only twenty of us here, so we really have made quite an impact on that poll.

Frankenterfer · 20/10/2018 23:20

Its not the definition that's in question its the hatred of Trans women that is behind the poster and the others that have been removed.
Its a bitter and vicious campaign by a small minority of bigots and transphobes that will not accept that Trans Women are women .
Its a campaign based on hate and ignorance of a minority started by a group of sad little women, that think they have a voice.

Am I reading this right, the TRA are not questioning the definition of woman, whilst still saying that those of us who don't accept that trans women are women are bigots and transohobes. Confused

Frankenterfer · 20/10/2018 23:21

bold fail

Juells · 21/10/2018 09:07

It's at 88% No now, so the public are obviously weighing in.

hahahaha just read the linked article asking people to photograph and remove the penis stickers, and report to police as a hate crime.

They've lost the run of themselves.

OP posts:
PositivelyPERF · 21/10/2018 09:52

asking people to photograph and remove the penis stickers

Nah, you’re alright. There’s only one person I can think of that likes to take photos of a penis and that’s in public places. I wonder how far the police have got with that crime or is it only women they’re interested in arresting?

NoRunAround · 21/10/2018 11:52

Sigh.

In other news libraries across the country have been raided and the W pages torn out from dictionaries _ well that's the next logical step isn't it? Angry
