Where do I shop?

I do my grocery shopping on a sunday on my sofa. I have a subscription to Tesco and they deliver in the week.
It's about £150 a week for my family of 6 and about £50 of bits and pieces over the week. All Tesco.

I read on a thread that Tesco is not on our side. (Not sure why. Can someone please tell me? I have searched but can't find)

Anyway, Ocado is out and I was thinking of Waitrose. Now they are out too.

Is there anyone who thinks a woman is NOT anyone who says they are one?

Tesco is out as they backed Stonewall's Metro ad this week.

There are current threads on Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Ocado.

M&S are out as they believe it's fine to have a man who self IDs as a woman fitting bras.

I'd go with Lidl/Aldi and Asda who are on Terfblocker (yay). Morrisons?

We need to get creative, and smart.

Bulk order grains, beans etc from buywholefoodsonline.co.uk
Look for farmers markets, cheaper green grocers, veg box delivery.
I started growing in pots this year, I am crap at gardening but got a mountain of cucumber, tomatoes, courgettes, beans, herbs, spinach, and a few pumpkin using cheap seeds ( around £8 spent total ) from moreveg.co.uk and wilko

I can't find a thread on Sainsbury's. Are they ok or not?

HandsOffMyRights · 20/10/2018 09:07

Ooh sorry might be doing Sainsbury's a dis-service, sure there was one.

Uterusowner · 20/10/2018 09:08

Thank goodness for that!

ILuvBirdsEye · 20/10/2018 10:44

Asda os on terfblocker! Wow!

Frozen fruit and veg is usually way cheaper, so Iceland might be an option too.

StealthNinjaMum · 20/10/2018 10:46

I think Morrisons online orders are done by Ocado so we can't use them either.

easternedge · 20/10/2018 11:01

This is all truly truly ridiculous.

Spasm0dic · 20/10/2018 12:18

I think this is the point really. If there are so many companies that we are avoiding, we end up with none on our side so we have to use a company whose opinions we disagree with.

Shop local when you can

My local butcher loved my Woman = adult human female T-shirt, he is the only person who mentioned in when I'm wearing it in the daytime.
And he's great at explaining stuff to my kids. So he's on my approved list. Plus market plus Lidl.
