About time we saw the end of daddy longlegs too- so exclusionary.

Oh dear - will there be a consultation on what correct PC and inclusive name / identity they should have, or will they just be violently allocated something less offensive?

Relieved to see it's a spoof. Though I know where there are hundreds of ladybirds. They're hibernating in the corners of the attics of my DPs house.

Did you know that ladybirds secrete a black coating while hibernating? I assume it's partly camouflage and perhaps a spot of extra insulation too.

That's interesting prawn , never noticed that. Going to have a closer look at the ones in the shed.

Hope they aren't 'Laydeeburdz' with black balaclavas though.

For one horrible moment I though this was about Ladybird Books. I imagined them going non-binary and gender fluid and I had the sense of my childhood turning to dust.
