Hats off to all you disrespectful women

I’ve mostly been lurking, but delved in a bit on twitter yesterday.

I’m clearly not cut out for this though as I haven’t slept well as my heart is thumping and my brain whirling with the things I should have said versus what I did say.

I have such respect for all of you that have calmly and clearly argued against the GRA reforms.

You’ve taken it from #nodebate to being widely discussed and debated. Thank you all of you.

There are some absolutely amazing women here. I am so proud to be part of this fight.

I’m proud to have played a tiny tiny part so far and committed to playing what part I can as we carry on. I’m constantly heartened by the intelligent, articulate and dedicated women on here - they are a force to be reckoned with.

I think it has been amazing to see you many thoughtful, intelligent, resourceful, courageous, funny, informed, determined, creative, eloquent, expert and passionate women have been brought together on this single issue. Its like witnessing the birth of a star.

Ironically it has sort of pushed me towards thinking that there is a kind of 'essence' of women - which is this determined resourcefulness showing itself in bright colours as we join in a shared struggle.
