I've cancelled my DD to the LP (yes I know I'm slow on the uptake) but I need them to know why. I CANNOT see how any sensible minded woman can support the GRA. Please can I have some sensible arguments to out in my email to JC. Thank you Confused

I would suggest linking to the Guardian editorial would be a good start. Reiterating that protecting trans rights should not come at the expense of women's rights, and that Labour have been woeful in not engaging with women's groups wanting to discuss the impact of the GRA.

This from another thread, is a good foundation:

Today the Labour Party released a statement recommending that people complete the GRA consultation using Stonewall's one-click response. I am, of course fully supportive of trans equality. However, Stonewall is not lobbying for trans equality, but for ideological redefinitions of sex & gender, and of the word 'woman'. These matters may seem unimportant, but these changes would do huge damage to society and to women's right to single-sex spaces, services and opportunities. Stonewall have not only refused to discuss women's legitimate concerns but have stated that there is no conflict between trans rights and womens' rights. That is clearly not the case.
I am beyond distressed that the Labour Party have ignored our voices in this vitally important matter.
Please could you let me know your views as a matter of urgency.
Thank you.
