Arghhhhhhh I'm trying finish filling it out and it seems to keep crashing - is anyone else having this problem?

I would suggest emailing the Government Equalities Office to log this, as it may provide grounds to extend the consultation - keep your records!

LaundryLaundryLaundry · 18/10/2018 12:51

I've had this too. Will try again this afternoon and message them if the problem persists. Good idea.

Acorninspring · 18/10/2018 13:01

Yes, great idea. Thanks

Yes. This is still happening. Did anyone get an answer. It's driving me mad.

Trinity1976 · 18/10/2018 22:05

I've been on for over an hour trying to get to the final question, which I where I left off earlier in the week.

DeRigueurMortis · 18/10/2018 22:07

I filled mine in a while ago and it was fine.

Tbh, call me cynical but I do wonder if the site is being targeted by someone trying to stop people completing it..

ItsInTheSpoon · 18/10/2018 22:10

There’s another thread about this linking to FairPlay for women website where there is another way to add your view more easily

kesstrel · 18/10/2018 22:16

If you are willing to stay up late or get up early, you will probably hit a quieter time while every one else is in bed!

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 18/10/2018 22:20

They accept submissions by email:

We've heard the governments on-line GRA submission form is slow and crashing tonight. You don't have to use it. You can email all your answers directly to them at [email protected]. Use our guidance to help you. t.co/hlSRRqDQ9q

OldCrone · 18/10/2018 22:20

On p.5 of the consultation document it says you can send your replies by email to:

[email protected]

SeaWitchly · 18/10/2018 22:23

I completed my submission via FPFW site just now... seemed to go through okay...
Bit last minute but better late than never Smile

Serfisafleur · 18/10/2018 22:36

Go to
Www.fairplayforwomen.com
And do their one-click response.

Acorninspring · 18/10/2018 22:51

I emailed mine in the end. But it meant having to rewrite a whole load of answers at the last minute. But at least it is in.

It's working now. At least finally was for me. Felt like a naughty student caught out doing their homework at the last minute.

MindTheMinotaur · 19/10/2018 01:01

Yep, I've been at it since 9pm, it seems to have just started working. Site was hanging between answers for long minutes at a time and crashing.

Redkeyboard · 19/10/2018 01:05

If you email what details do you need to include

OldCrone · 19/10/2018 01:16

If you email what details do you need to include

Name
Full postal address
phone number
email

Ereshkigal · 19/10/2018 01:18

Yes it crashed 7 times for me before I finally got to submit my response.

Redkeyboard · 19/10/2018 02:09

Thanks Old Crone

FoldyRoll · 19/10/2018 02:50

Keep trying if it's hanging. It'll be the sheer number of people responding making the site slow rather than any sinister cause. I bet most consultations get no more than a handful of responses.

I've got all the questions together with WPUK and FPFW guidance responses in a word doc. PM if you want a copy to get started on an email response.

OlennasWimple · 19/10/2018 02:59

It crashed for me a few times this afternoon (my time) and was veerrrrryyyy slllllooooowwww to go between pages, but I've just managed to get it submitted now (it's only 10pm here, so I guess most UK respondents are in bed so the site is quieter)

ijustwannadance · 19/10/2018 03:24

Finally finished when I shouldve been asleep hours ago.
Gave up after 3 hours on Wednesday of constant crashing. Been trying all evening but couldn't even get on the gov webpage.
