I mean after the GRA has closed? I can't see how the legislation won't get through, unless it gets kicked into the long grass because of Brexit etc... I don't think many people care/know/understand what is going on though it might seem like that to those who are in the thick of it and can hardly think about anything else at the moment.

If it does get through, the next step is 'reforming' the EA. This is where I think things could begin to turn as people realise what the actual implications are for so many parts of our lives.

Longer term, turning points will surely be sport where some women do have power and a stake in resistance and the medicalisation of children. The latter will one day be classed alongside any number of other gruesome medical experiments gone wrong I think.

Well in the long term you either take it or join the people who will be fighting back.
It's a train wreck, it's terrifying and it worries me so much.

Never forget, this was introduced by the same party who tried to bring in clause 28. Anyone who thinks they did this in peoples best interests and to promote anyone's human rights is too naive for words.

MRA's are already trying to blame feminists and saying 'you brought it on yourselves' and 'you wanted equality, this is what it looks like'. Be prepared for more of that kind of gloating and goading.

Its going to get worse for women and children, and eventually there will be a backlash against all gay and non gender conforming people. Which is probably the point of it all in the first place.

Eventually they will out themselves as extremists, and there will be another backlash as people try to move back to where we used to be a decade ago.

In the meantime, women will carry on being funny, and gobby, and sarcastic, and scared, and just getting on with it anyway. Like we have been doing for always.

So it’s not just me who thinks that’s? And actually I think we’re already there Sad

I don't think the backlash against lesbians ever ended Sad
