I'd like to post about it on my facebook but to people who will almost certainly be unaware it's happening, and will not have the patience to read through a whole website with lots of pages. So I'd like something with the key points - that there's a consultation, why it's so important to defend women's rights and safeguarding, some examples of the dangers (preferably with pictures as these make the point most obviously and quickest, and these are people who probably don't have the time or interest to click on background links). Basically need to peak trans people in double-quick time!

Any suggestions? I'd also include a link to the FPFW one-click consultation page. Really need something that will explain the basics to people to whom the discussion is all new. No technical jargon or assuming people know the difference between gender and sex, or even that there is one, no abbreviations unless spelled out etc.

I could go for the Guardian page but it has no pictures and is a bit technical for some of my facebook friends I suspect.

Thanks!

There is just one day left to have your say in the Government Consultation to changes to the Gender Recognition Act. You may have seen recent news stories such as a male rapist being allowed to sexually assault women in a female prison, and, a male winning gold in the women's cycling world championship, spelling the death knell for women's sports.

These are just two examples showing how self identification of gender is dangerous and damaging for the rights of women and girls. We can expect to see much more stories like these if self-id goes through.

If you don't have time to complete the consultation, but wish to protect women's sex-based rights, you can send a one-click response in less than a minute from here:

fairplayforwomen.com/email/

This is your one chance to have your say, don't waste it.

Shared on Facebook and sent via WhatsApp asking people to forward on x

Thank you! Everything I tried to write myself just got too ranty and too long-winded, I need to keep it simple.

Love the Sandy Draws Badly one!
