I just watched it and fell in love! What a strong, articulate woman. Why are we being represented in parliament by a bunch of spineless tossers when there are women like her around who would make a much better job of it?

Lisa should be leader of a l Party that represents women, children and the victims of austerity!

If I've realised one thing in this mess, it's that the low representation of women in councils and parliament is a huge, huge problem. Also a huge problem is the fact that the women who HAVE made it into that representation have largely done it by playing (and winning) at the Patriarchy Game and do not represent women.

When you listen to a woman like Lisa, and Anne Ruzylo, and you realise the calibre of women out there compared to the calibre of who appears on tv and answers your letters, its obvious. Really obvious. I was gobsmacked the first time I heard Anne speak on youtube. What politician can you think of that can stand and hold a room like that? Speak from the heart, with full knowledge of the law and policy, with personal practical knowledge of what they're talking about, with the ability to respond to any question in the room with knowledge and articulacy?

This talent is being blocked. Intentionally. This has to be fixed. And that will prevent a mess like this being able to happen again.
