Brought it up with a group of friends last night. Was slightly apprehensive as it's not the kind of thing we generally discuss on a night out. They were sort of vaguely aware but didn't know about the proposed changes to the law or the consultation. They were absolutely horrified. I had some handy leaflets in my bag they could go away with and by this morning two of them have done the quick consultation.

Deadline is this Friday, the 19th, 11pm.

i did the scottish consultation without any guidance notes and it was painful

this consultation seemed to have been deliberately written to obfuscate meaning, and I genuinely don't think i could have done it without the FPFW guidance - it's highly recommended

I did this the other day using the prefilled one - am 40+10 weeks pregnant and been struggling to sit at computer for long periods for quite a while so have been putting it off. Was THRILLED to see that there was a prefilled one. Sent link to DH and he took it into work yesterday and discussed in the staff room. None of them had heard anything about it - but 10 of them completed it there and then. Several of them said they'd be sharing on social media.

Unfortunately while people seem to be waking up to it, I think that it's too little too late. Won't stop me from speaking out though.
