Just outed myself as gender critical on Facebook

I am starting by sharing this petition as I think it is pretty uncontrovercial.

Result...my Facebook posts led to a long phone call with a male friend whose basic response was “what the fuck”...and he’s emailed all his friends to tell them!!!

On Friday i finally broached the subject with my best friend, suprise suprise, whilst she didn't know anything about the consultation she was adamant transwomen are NOT women and when I told her about self id she was shocked and concerned.

I do need to send the consultation link to another friend who has been at the sharp end of the transwomen in sport side of things.

I have been quietly liking and sharing a few things for a month or so now. Never get more than one or two ‘likes’ or comments. I have a couple of old uni friends who I have expected to try and call me out or defriend me, but not yet. They used to post a lot of pro-trans stuff and that seems to have stopped though, so maybe they are coming onside.

Wish I still had Facebook. I've been putting GC things as my WhatsApp status even though I don't know how that actually works or what it does. It's always the same handful of people who see it, but they never say anything.

Fully GC on FB using my own name. Not many comments/likes but they have all been positive and the FPFW stuff has been shared. The Karen White case has been an absolute gift in arguing our case so I use that as an example. No one but the lost rabid TRA can argue against that.

Have finally gone full GC on FB. Women have been threatened and doxxed for this and I’m worrying about losing friends? Anyone who thinks women should hand over our hard earned rights to be “nice” is no friend to me, I have come to realise.
The deafening silence is confirming my suspicions that most people are not fooled by the TRA movement, they are just afraid to say so.

My fb friends are few as I don’t tend to use fb for anything other than dog related stuff. However, I did do a Consultation post critical of self Id. Absolute and utter silence.
