Morning all, where can I buy a violet, white and green scarf please? Preferably a knitted one. I'd knit one myself but my limit is 5 stitches before I get holes in things Sad plus I'd like one ASAP. A hat would be good too. Thanks.

as lang said on another thread, even if the GRA reforms get kicked into the long grass, this is far from over

personally i think we should be campaigning to repeal the GRA altogether

a scarf in suffragette colours would be just the thing when out campaigning. i'm going to get my crochet hook out. I know this doesn't help you, but thanks for the idea, and I thought I'd give your thread a little bump!

It's not knitted it's lovely and light, but here's mine I ordered from red bubble. Took a couple of weeks to arrive though but worth it!

I have this one, also from Redbubble
www.redbubble.com/people/hagzissa/works/21636541-votes-for-women?cat_context=women-clothes&grid_pos=2&p=scarf&rbs=5ec0b313-0101-451f-a3fc-4b668f532aee&ref=shop_grid&iaCode=w-scarf

Hugely recommend their scarves, I've got about ten now. Light, airy, lovely quality. I do wish they did rectangular ones as well as square, though.

PerverseConverse, crochet-ing is miles easier than knitting (and I think faster too)

1 hook vs 2 needles? I know which I'd pick as a rather uncoordinated person!

silentcrow · 14/10/2018 09:57

It is faster, especially if you use chunky yarn and a big hook - I have mine ready to start, just haven't decided what pattern yet. Crochet eats about 1/3 more yarn than knitting, though, so worth remembering if you're comparing a knitted length. Buy yarn you can easily get more of - been bitten by that one before!

I think we need to get organisations to start using the EA exemptions as they were intended.

Redshoeblueshoe · 14/10/2018 19:35
