I've suspended for less than that . I myself never commented on anything only retweeted other posters tweets and nothing nasty but got a message from Twitter telling me I'm banned. No great loss for me really because since I'd joined my blood pressure rose considerably now back to normal

I have my normal account because my feminism is a risk at work but I'm itching to get the prison petition a bit more circulation... will have to wait til tomorrow.

What I do is I tag these support charities in these tweets so it makes them aware of what actually is going on, so should occasion arise they get bullied by cult they can see exactly what they might be agreeing too.

One gave me the rage, I tagged every fucker in, they shit themselves and locked and blocked me. They all very I volunteer in woman’s refuge even posted a letter saying it from tthe women at refuge who had no issue with trans women being in there space, also was pretty vocal about terfs and bigots.

Don’t know if womanaid (think I tagged USA one) also tagged few nhs top heads as sure they saying they work for nhs or could be another one that instantly blocked me.

Funny they say it’s their own views but quick enough to use the nhs or women’s aid etc to spout their shit

The obvious problem with those "I use women's services and I am fine with male-bodied transwomen using them too as they are my sisters!!!" posts are that they are self-selecting. All the women who were turned away, or who never even tried to use the services, because they knew they would have to share them with men, are left with no voice at all.

Yeah they are banning feminists left right and centre. Oddly though, when I have reported actual deat threats (against me AND my kids), nothing at all was done.

I have only been banned once. That was because I got suckered into an argument on the Belfast rape case..with some dickhead that seemed like a MRA.

What's a shadow ban?
Not in twitter so I don't know the lingo.

It's basically a way of limiting who can see what you post and not telling you about it. So they won't email you about it they will just put the limits on your account and then you might be responding to say something on this morning and nobody except the people who follow you can actually see what you're saying so you can't get your message out to any larger audience

That's a very uncomfortable way to silence voices.

Yes and you don't notice because you think you just posting as normal. It's only because me and my friends watch each other's accounts that we know it's happening
